Opportunities available for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join this urban utilities service provider. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for both design and project engineering bulk water infrastructure.
Reporting to the Electrical and Mechanical Manager, your role will encompass a variety of responsibilities, including:
Responsibilities
- Producing electrical and instrumentation designs, adhering specifications and Australian Standards
- Producing LV and HV designs, MCCs, and Switchrooms
- Arc flash calculations
- Design reviews and sign-offs
- Coordinating the configuration and commissioning of Electrical and Control Systems
- Writing accurate technical documents, specifications, and engineering materials
- Applying ownership of electrical design projects
- Collaborating closely with team of designers and engineers
More about you
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Previous background in a utilities industry in a design and/ or project capacity
- Strong understanding of Australian and industry codes and standards
- Strong understanding of principles of safety in design
- Strong understanding of hierarchy of controls
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
